Across rural and tribal communities in Northeast India, many families continue to struggle with access to clean water, safe sanitation, and basic hygiene. Our WASH Program responds to these challenges not through isolated interventions, but through community-led, government-aligned solutions designed to be sustainable and long-lasting.

What we have catalysed

  • Engaged girls and women on menstrual health
  • Built safe girls’ washrooms through PRAGATI to keep girls in school
  • Strengthened local water governance via Water User Committees, Jal Shala volunteers, and women-led water-testing teams
  • Handed over functional water supply schemes to Panchayats, ensuring safe drinking water for every household
  • Collaborated with PHED under Jal Jeevan Mission to strengthen local water systems
