NEAID is contributing to the nation and NE region by

Partnering with communities and systems to improve health outcomes where it matters most.

Health

Across Northeast India, access to reliable healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene remains constrained by geography, difficult terrain, and recurring disasters. Rural and remote communities face persistent gaps in maternal health, child nutrition, adolescent awareness, and preventive care. Seasonal floods and landslides often worsen these challenges, cutting families off from essential services when they need them most.

Our Health Program was created in response to this reality. We are guided by a simple belief: every person no matter how remote their village deserves access to primary healthcare, nutrition, and timely support.

What We Do

Current NEAID programmes include:

We collaborate closely with government departments, district health systems, CSR partners, frontline health workers, self-help groups, and village committees. Together, we ensure that communities not only access essential services, but are also empowered to sustain healthier practices long after our engagement ends.
