Rinky, a bright 12-year-old from Mayong, once blended into the background – quiet, unsure and distant from group activities.

When our WST program began, things shifted. Through joyful assemblies and small leadership roles, she slowly stepped forward -reading the thought for the day, helping in assemblies, joining storytelling. Her confidence grew bit by bit.

The turning point came when she contested for the Student Parliament, delivered her first speech, won, and became the Cultural Leader. Suddenly, the shy girl was organizing events, speaking at assemblies and inspiring younger children.

With her academics rising and her mother joining the Mothers’ Group, change echoed at home too.

Today, Rinky stands as a confident young leader, proof of what the right support can spark
